Safe Support During Critical Recovery Transitions

The hours and days around treatment transitions are some of the most vulnerable in recovery. C&C Recovery provides a calm, capable companion who removes uncertainty, keeps the plan on track, and helps the client arrive safely at the next step.

  • • Coaching the first weeks home from treatment
  • • Home to detox, residential, or PHP
  • • Treatment to sober living or aftercare
  • • Cross-country escorted travel and sober travel companion support
  • • Post-treatment reintegration and ongoing accountability

“Our role is to be the steady presence in moments that do not feel steady. Calm, clear, and never clinical.”

C&C Recovery

How experiential coaching works

What a Week With C&C Recovery Looks Like

A repeatable process, refined across years of working with young adults in early recovery and the families supporting them.

01

Confidential intake

A call with the family. We listen, gather the full picture, and answer the difficult questions honestly.

02

Meet the client

We sit down with the client in person, without clipboards or formality, to understand where they truly are in their recovery.

03

Build the plan

We establish a coaching cadence, activities the client will engage with, family check-ins, and optional accountability through UAs.

04

Show up

Meetings, the gym, outdoor activity, budgeting sessions, and family coaching. We become part of the client's week, not simply an entry on the calendar.

05

Travel when needed

If a flight to treatment, sober living, or home is required, we accompany the client. Same team, same trust.

06

Stay close

Ongoing accountability and consistent communication with the family. Our involvement does not end when the difficult week does.

Recovery transport process

When Travel Is Part of the Plan

When a flight to treatment, sober living, or home is on the table, we take care of the logistics, the handoffs, and the long hours in between.

01

Confidential intake

We listen, gather the details, and align with the family, interventionist, or treatment team.

02

Plan & logistics

We coordinate travel, timing, and handoffs so nothing is left to chance.

03

Meet the client

A trained sober companion meets the client where they are and builds trust from the first minute.

04

Escorted travel

Door-to-door support through car or air travel, with steady accountability throughout.

05

Safe arrival

We complete a structured handoff to the receiving program, family, or sober living.

06

Follow-through

Optional ongoing companioning, case management, and aftercare coordination.

Who We Are

The team that shows up.

C&C Recovery is built around a simple idea: a client in transition deserves more than one set of eyes. Meet the team behind the work.

Chris Bell, Founder · Sober Companion at C&C Recovery

Chris Bell

Founder · Sober Companion

Chris founded C&C Recovery to fill a gap he saw in the recovery process: young adults leaving treatment with little guidance on how to navigate everyday life. Born and raised in New York, he found recovery in 2020 after years of battling addiction and mental health challenges. Since 2021 he has worked in behavioral health, helping individuals and families through their most difficult transitions. He believes recovery is built through action, and encourages clients to get outside, stay active, and reconnect with life.

Colin Smith, Partner · Sober Companion at C&C Recovery

Colin Smith

Partner · Sober Companion

Colin has spent years in recovery support, walking alongside clients through some of the most difficult transitions of their lives. His calm, grounded presence and steady sense of humor are what families remember long after the engagement ends.

Field Kit

Built for the long haul.

We log a great deal of miles, terminals, and waiting-room hours. The C&C cap has become the team’s unofficial standard, sun-faded and sweat-tested, quietly along for every transport.
